Updated Ride Info - 2020

Howdy STR Trail Riders,

 

The ride is coming up fast.  Only 2 weeks away.  We have over 50 riders signed up and will probably have over 55 by opening night.

There will be some changes in order to be COVID safe.  Please look at the attached COVID Protocols.

Remember to get some saddle time in so you and your horse will be in fine shape to explore this big country in the blue mountains

Rental Horses - Paul and Jason still have a few horses left, but you better act soon!  Maybe even a mule can be found for those like minded cowboys

The Cunningham Sheep Company is providing us with lamb for Friday night’s dinner!

These are the other recreational activities available in the area:   Swimming & Fishing: Grand Ronde River is just 15 miles east of Meacham on I-84. Exploring The Oregon Trail - it runs right through Meacham and a monument is placed nearby.

Attached is an equipment list to help you know what the guys usually bring to the ride

 

Early Arrivals – The officers will be there Sunday, August 2nd to open the gate, so come early if you wish. BYOB.
